Pink tips

I still haven't found the perfect pale pink creme but I was in the mood for some pretty pink nails.  The only pale pink creme I have is a streaky mess so I used it to get my base colour and layered a couple of other polishes to hide/blend the streaks.

The end result isn't a creme but I was pretty pleased with the frosty pink.  Surprisingly the colour looked good with my skin tone.

Unfortunately all the layers made this a little thick, especially at the tips, so I didn't wear it long.
Why can't I find a nice pale pink that isn't streaky and only needs 2 coats?

Yep that's my right hand, it looked better than my left.  All these polish layers didn't sit well over my wrapped broken nail.

This thick pink armour was 3 coats of a Diffi polish without a name or number, 1 coat of an OPI mini without a name or number, and 1 coat of Nfu-Oh 48.
Can anyone recommend a pale pink creme please?

  1. This looks ridiculously pretty! I love the Nfu-Oh polish. I'm trying to think of a good pale pink - OPI's Italian Love Affair springs to mind as giving fantastic coverage. Not sure if it's been discontinued though...

    1. Thanks I'll check that out. I'm really quite ignorant about the OPI range, guess I need to start looking closer :)

  2. I'm not sure how pale you want it, but I recently wanted a light pink creme for Easter. I ended up using Icing In Love, but China Glaze Lavender Lingo was a close contender (it's not lavender at all). Julep Penelope is also a pale pink, but it was lighter than I wanted. All of these were opaque in 2 coats and not streaky at all.

    1. I might be able to find the China Glaze here. With a name like that I think I should get it anyway :)

  4. I'm with the commenter who said the OPI mini is Princesses Rule. Pedal Faster Suzi is pretty, but not a creme. China Glaze Go Go Pink is a nice pale pink.

    1. Brilliant thanks! I'll look out for these and I think I might need a full size of Princesses Rule now.
